With the weather starting to warm up, albeit slowly, we all anticipate the arrival of spring. For our stores, that means the unveiling of our spring/summer themes. This year’s themes include Antique Chic, Lavender Blooms, Potting Shed, and Back Porch.

Antique ChicAntique Chic is a romantic feminine theme that has a lightness and airiness to it. This theme uses colors of peach, ivory, and pink along with textures of lace, burlap, and sheer. Peonies are a major element to this theme, contributing a softness and freshness.

Lavender Blooms

Lavender Blooms is sure to give you spring fever. Using pots of lavender and stems of lilac, you can almost smell the fragrant spring air. In addition to lavender and various shades of purple, soft yellow or a pale yellow-green make a great addition to this theme’s color story. Hummingbirds, bird houses and feeders, pictures, and wreaths are all used to round out this refreshing theme.

Potting ShedPotting Shed is a very organic theme and uses neutrals, including cool grey. Galvanized buckets and watering cans are a large focus, but also incorporating stone figurines of birds, frogs, snails, and rabbits. Other items used in this theme are succulents and pictures that match the gardening state of mind.

Back-PorchBack Porch evokes a sense of relaxation and nostalgia using a classic combination of black, white, red, and an accent of yellow. Picture yourself in a rocking chair sipping sweet tea as a warm breeze passes by and you’re almost there. Decorate with chalk board signs and lanterns along with pots and pictures of geraniums.

Come on in and take a gander at these themes for the approaching warm weather. They’re sure to raise your spirits after the recent snow storms.
